Memorial Day Weekend

Hello Loves!!!! I am back with an outfit post from this past Memorial Day weekend in Mobile, AL. I spent that time with my Boo's family and I enjoyed every minute of it!!! Didn't get any BBQ though.... :-(....Maybe next time. Oh well, you know in my last post that I brought you up to speed and I can gladly say that everything is moving along perfectly with me and this pregnancy!!! Thank you all for your concern and comments. As for the fashion dilemma, I just realized that I need to invest in maxi dresses and pieces that have just enough stretch. And yet affordable being that a baby tends to make the pockets quite thin! So until next post...

Sorry...But to bring you up to Speed

Hello Beauties!!! It has been a rocky road these last few months, but I must admit that I have loved every minute of it!! Thank God! I am now 6 months pregnant and every moment of my pregnancy has been a blessing because I haven't been sick at all. Although, about a week or so ago, my BP shot up to 160/100 but it has come down tremendously and I am very thankful for that. No Preeclampsia as of now...Whew!

New beginnings mean new blessings...I recieve all that is in store for me, my baby, and my baby's father. God has been amazing in everything that has taken place in my life in the last 8 months. He has mended friendships, my relationship has been better than ever, family has become stronger, and last but certainly not least, I am here to tell you all about it!  And being that I am here, I hope to be able to share every minute with you ...

The woes of being plus size preggers and a blogger, for me, is that there are no cutesy maternity clothes at all!!!! (Screaming)  Top heavy, wide hips, and now added "The Baby Bump"...LOL!!  I am still pushing myself these days, but it's hard when you just want to lounge every free minute I am allowed...But  I am gearing up a few things around here that I hope will satisfy my Curvy Southerner readers. I will be posting a mass of  OOTDs, baby gear and stuff, beauty looks, and etc. Please keep holding your girl down because this first time preggers thing is bringing on a whole new world for me.

Be on the lookout  for things to revive themselves within me!

Hello Beauties!!! This is so freaking late but hunny, nesting this baby ain't no joke!!! LOL! I had the exuberant pleasure to attend a Maroon 5 concert back in March and I loved it to pieces!!!! OMG! Adam Levine is so hott and he put on an awesome show! My goal for my look was "preggo comfort" because I knew I would have to walk a bunch. I love singing so bad that listening to him tell his story as to how it took him and his band to make it had me in tears because I felt as if that could never happen for me. My hormones have me acting all kinds of crazy!!!  Knowing that I know of a higher power, I know that in my due season, God will bless me to be in the exact place he has been creating just for me.

Hey there!!!! I am coming to share with you a look that took me forever and a day to post...I wore this look out with my dearest friend to have dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. Since being preggo, I have been tired as ever!!! I am trying my best to come up with some fashionable yet affordable looks to rock during this pregnancy. This is my comfort preggo swag  and I love it! Hopefully I can push the evelope a little more and do more daring not so expected looks... ;-) Wish me luck!!!!

Hello Beauties!!!! I am back!!!!! This weekend was a complete blast and I enjoyed every minute of it!!!! I did quite a bit, and it didn't seem to tire me too bad ;-) being that all this week it's going to be light work load due to Spring Break!!! Yippie!!!! Anywho, this look is what I wore to a Prayer Breakfast on Saturday being that I was on program to sing. I had an amazing time meeting the new people and visiting this beautiful community of church people!!! I will be revisiting this church home again. I hope you all enjoy this look and stay tuned...

CS Organize: Makeup Storage

Hello Beauties!!!! I am coming at you with a few tips and tricks that were applied to situating my makeup sensibly. My makeup haven has gotten just out of hand and I had grown tired of the mess!! I guess I'm just nesting (a pregger thing), LOL!!! Well, I ventured to my local Dollar Tree and Family Dollar to assist in organizing this jungle of a mess.

And After. The shelf was purchased from Family Dollar for only $5!!!! Whoop!!! Whoop!!!

These two transparent(plastic) turquoise bens were purchased from Dollar Tree. These are used to hold my lipsticks, powders, and blushes. I will be returning to purchase a few more because I want to get rid of the vertical drawer unit.

This tin can is a MAC container that was gifted when I purchased one of their gift sets a while back. It had a lid, but I broke it off because I saw no use for it to me. I use this to store all my pencils for the time being. 

Here is my drawer unit that I just kept until I get more bens. I keep lip gloss, primers, everyday go to items, and etc. in this unit. That's just my mirror on top. And my container in which I keep my wipes. Disregard the plug-in...LOL!!! 

 My palettes have been my most go to items, so I purchased this mail sorter, I guess you call it, to stack my palettes for easy grab and use.

 The idea for my brush holders was discovered on Youtube!!! There are so many cool ways to store your brushes, but this seem to be the best, easy, and most affordable way for me!! These are candle holders pruchased from Dollar Tree and added the marble like rocks for decor. They are not in any particular order but I think I did good. :-)

My Caboodle/Traincase is used to hold the 'extras' which is stuff that has either never been opened or just isn't used as much. Don't let the outside fool ya, keep scrolling.

 Extra eyeshadows, newbie items, lashes, loose eyeshadows, and etc.

Hope you all enjoyed me sharing with you my makeup storage idea. Knowing that as time goes on, this will be revamped several times. Makeup is an addiction and a good one I must add!!! :-)

Makeup: MAC New Additions

Hello my Beauties!!!! Finally, I got my hands on the Viva Glam Nicki II and I absolutely love it!! Just a quick post to share with you some new MAC merchandise I purchased. Also, I purchase my very 1st MAC blush called Raizin and I love it!!! This makes for a great everyday blush to wear.
