I tried my best to be spiffy as I could in these pics...I ain't gonna lie, I was tired as all get out! Look at my little man up there, he will give you a run for your money! I love him so much though. My little man is now 16mths or better yet 1 yr. old. Now I see why parents say I remember you as a baby.  Huh...

This was my relaxed look for an outing with the three of us. The weather is bonkers here in Alabama, but I thank heavens I don't have to deal with the snow or ice for now. The temperatures change like the wind. Last year the ice took Birmingham off the map. LOL!  This city was looking like something off of Walking Dead with all the stranded vehicles left everywhere. I am so not hoping for that again because my baby and I were stranded at a church. It was kind of weird at first but the members of that church made you feel right at home. That was one of my great moments from 2014. Thanks for checking in...

Happy Mothers Day to all my blog readers that are mothers and even those who are mothers to be. Here is a recap of my 1st official Mother's Day look that I wore to church on Sunday. I wanted to wear "Hues of Blue" for some strange reason but I didn't have a blue jacket to wear with my look, better luck next time. Monochromatic appeals to me at this very moment and it will be featured in a future post ;-)

This mother's day thing is taking some getting use to; I forgot to msg/txt friends that recently became mothers just like me and I was taking back by those who wished me a Happy Mother's Day. Believe it or not, reality still has not settled and my baby is about to be a year old. WOW! 

Finally, I introduce you all to my baby Jairus,Jr. aka "JJ", he recently turned 8 months and that year is slowly creeping on in there. My baby is growing too fast!! I want to keep him just like this but I know that is impossible.  Hope you all enjoyed this post....

This has been a momentous week. I have been very busy and haven't stopped for a minute. I am trying to be a good sport and keep up with this challenge as much as I can. As I research a few of my past looks, I have worn mostly everything already and why not go ahead and post it for all to see. I am loving this challenge because it is really pushing me to another level to wear pieces I would not normally wear. Without further introduction, I present my "Hi-Lo" look:

Hello Beauties!!! 

This year seems to be zooming right on by.......Zoom!!! Anywho, I am blessed to be here to see it all weather good or bad. This summer seems to be one of those hot summers when I was younger and spent hours on end walking around at a theme park where I lived to get on a water ride to feel some cooling water touch my skin! I am very thankful that I work in an environment where the air is constantly going non-stop. I always opt to where some type of clothing, like a cardigan or lite weight blazer, that will keep me from freezing at work. So the look of choice for the day were these amazing pants that I purchased from F21+ when they were on sale for a whopping $10.99! Whoop Whoop!!!! I first fell in love with this style of pant when I saw my girl Inez of Style Chic 360 rock a similar pair last year here. This look was pulled literally together in a few mins. I think I produced something pretty decent! I had to snap a few shots of the look because I was pressed for time to get out the door, hope you all approve....

Saluting our Troops Here and Abroad...

This Memorial Day was spent just chillin with friends and family. I opted to wear this top I purchased from Kmart by LYS. I had been watching it for some time now and decided to purchase this piece. The LYS collection at Kmart gives me so much life and the pieces are well worth every penny! I managed to get this piece for 30% off and I could not beat that. I chose to wear this look with some white jeans and I feel it came together just fine! I took a few hours to get ready and my boyfriend was growing impatient, but once he saw the finished product he was quite pleased!!!! He had to take a step back at how gorgeous I looked if I may say so myself...so lets get on with it, here is the look:

For the Fit of It

Hello Beauties!!!!

Yesterday was the day I showcase the love or LYS at Kmart and this entire outfit is from that line. I love the look of this blouse and the fit was flowing and strict comfort. I got a few compliments on this look, but I wish I had done something to my head!!!! It looks a mess, at least I think so. I will be doing some TLC to this hair of mine very soon. I am thinking about going natural...What do you think?
