I tried my best to be spiffy as I could in these pics...I ain't gonna lie, I was tired as all get out! Look at my little man up there, he will give you a run for your money! I love him so much though. My little man is now 16mths or better yet 1 yr. old. Now I see why parents say I remember you as a baby.  Huh...

This was my relaxed look for an outing with the three of us. The weather is bonkers here in Alabama, but I thank heavens I don't have to deal with the snow or ice for now. The temperatures change like the wind. Last year the ice took Birmingham off the map. LOL!  This city was looking like something off of Walking Dead with all the stranded vehicles left everywhere. I am so not hoping for that again because my baby and I were stranded at a church. It was kind of weird at first but the members of that church made you feel right at home. That was one of my great moments from 2014. Thanks for checking in...

Btw...I am in Love with the crochet hair styling these days...

This outfit is slightly a revisit from last year here. This was during the time I first found out I was pregnant and I felt like a blowfish...LOL! Amazingly to my family, is that I fit right back into my pre-pregnancy clothes and so was I! Hope you guys like this revisited look.

A New Little Prince

This past weekend was my 2nd baby shower hosted by my Boo, Adrian. It was so much freaking fun that I could not do it all over again because I was exhausted!!! So many friends and family came by my spot to show their love and drop off gifts if they could not make the shower. I will be journeying to Mobile,AL this weekend for my 3rd and final shower to be given by my boyfriend's mom. This is going to be a shonuff party!!! And I am so looking forward to it.

The look of choice was selected by my sister and I am very happy that I went with this option. This dress is almost a year old now and the material feels great against my baby bump!!!! ASOS Curve has been marketed to fit the plus size fancy but the sizes seem to be cut a tad bit larger than the size it shows on the tag. The dress in this photo is a 16, so if it stretches then I say it will work perfectly!!! I'll take that! Hope you all enjoy this look...

Hello Beauties!!! I did promise you all a birthday post and here it is!!!! My birthday was on Friday, June 21, but I did not celebrate it until Saturday, June 22. I chose to celebrate at California Pizza Kitchen because pizza seems to be a love of mine at the moment(preggo craving) and I must admit that it was quite delicious!!!! In the above photos, those are the loves that came out to celebrate with me and I enjoyed chillin with my crew!!! Not to leave out, the Boo was in attendance as well but he is not a fan of pictures. So, as I sit here creating this blog post, he has the nerve to say that he is not in any of the pictures....so my next Baby Shower is this weekend, maybe he will be photographed....or maybe not!

Here is the look I came up with to wear out on Saturday and I absolutely loved it!!! It was comfortable and showed my baby bump perfectly! But those feet though...Swollen for days. Not to mention the stain in my tank...I tend to drop food often. Poor me :-( Anywho, I was still cute Boo! Thanks for stopping by and you all have a wonderful weekend.

Memorial Day Weekend

Hello Loves!!!! I am back with an outfit post from this past Memorial Day weekend in Mobile, AL. I spent that time with my Boo's family and I enjoyed every minute of it!!! Didn't get any BBQ though.... :-(....Maybe next time. Oh well, you know in my last post that I brought you up to speed and I can gladly say that everything is moving along perfectly with me and this pregnancy!!! Thank you all for your concern and comments. As for the fashion dilemma, I just realized that I need to invest in maxi dresses and pieces that have just enough stretch. And yet affordable being that a baby tends to make the pockets quite thin! So until next post...

Hi-Lo in Tribal

Hello Beauties!!! Today is the beginning of September and the lovely start to my three day weekend!!! Yes!!! Well, I decided to pull this dress from the closet before it gets too cool to wear it. This probably is my final look of the summer be that if the weather doesn't change. It has been quite hot here still in Birmingham, AL. We are still experiencing 80 degree weather with rain as well. Here that seems to be tornado weather being that we dodged Hurricane Issac, Thank God.  I am praying for those that have experienced devastation from that hurricane that turned tropical storm.

I purchased this dress from F21+ online a few months ago, and just wanted to be comfortable because I was going to the mall. Without further introduction, here is my OOTD:

BFSC: Cropped Top & Maxi Skirt or Dress

Hello Beauties!!!!

I am still hanging in there so here's to my submission for the BFSC that is being hosted by Jasifer of Jasifers Club. Be sure to check out the other participants of this BFSC here.

This was a huge challenge for me...The crop top was bit of a struggle and I did want to do it but with a tasteful spin. I did not own anything crop in my wardrobe so I went on the hunt for something of that nature. I went to any and every store, and finally I stopped in Kmart and found this cute top. You all have heard about the LYS collection at Kmart, but to my surprise the Bongo line carries plus size!!! Yay!!! They had colorful bottoms and an array of tops to choose from. So feel free to stop in your local Kmart and check the Bongo line for their plus size fashions. 

I purchased this top with the intent to where it with a really cute bra. I remembered that I had this leopard print bra from a few years back and decided to wear it underneath. I did my best and I hope you guys feel the same.

I actually am quite surprised by how this look came together. I love the top and will be checking Bongo out more often. The best time is now since the store will be making room for fall wear in which means all the summer apparel will be marked down tremendously.

BFSC: Short Shorts

Hello Beauties!!!

Today I decided to do the unimaginable for me. I wore short shorts. This really is out of the norm for me because I only own 2 pair of shorts in my wardrobe, but after today, I think I will be owning many more! I love the fit of these shorts and have owned them for years and probably worn them only 3x's now. Sad, I know but I have this insecurity about wearing shorts. My friend Adrian kept saying to me, I do not see why you wouldn't wear shorts because those look nice on you. Ok, true friends will always tell the truth and that she does often. I will be taking her advice with stride and add more shorts to my wardrobe for next Summer and even Winter to wear with tights!!! 

This look comes with new hair as well.  I love big hair on me for some reason and I feel that I wear it well. It makes me think about Shanda (picture below) with husband Fat Man Scoop. I love her hair!!!  

I rocked my very first curly wig back when I performed my Fall semester in Gospel choir. I loved that hair until it flopped on me after 4 wears. So I was introduced to this lady I am rocking now on Saturday evening and I will never part from it!!! Love this hair and the way it frames my face!!!!

Hello Beauties!!!! 

Lastnight, I attended this social and savings club party at a place called Leonard's. The party was packed and jumpin, but ain't no way in the world I was gonna spent a long time in that mug!!!!(my country side just erupted) Any who, it was so freakin hot in that place! I spent maybe a good hour in there before I decided to leave. That's all I have to say about that one....except for the man with no front teeth, bad breath tried to holla! Like my coworker says it best "GoodBye"!!! 

On to the look of the evening:

Look#1, I LOVE this blouse, but it fitted a little too much on the loose side and I did not want to flash anyone. I will be making an appt. with a seamstress to get the fit I want. This piece was purchased from Kendra's Beauty Corner and you can find her here and here.

Look#2, I was not in love with these shoes for this look.

Look#3, is the one I went with because you can never go wrong with Leopard and comfort is always key!
