Those Pants!!!

Hello Beauties!!! 

This year seems to be zooming right on by.......Zoom!!! Anywho, I am blessed to be here to see it all weather good or bad. This summer seems to be one of those hot summers when I was younger and spent hours on end walking around at a theme park where I lived to get on a water ride to feel some cooling water touch my skin! I am very thankful that I work in an environment where the air is constantly going non-stop. I always opt to where some type of clothing, like a cardigan or lite weight blazer, that will keep me from freezing at work. So the look of choice for the day were these amazing pants that I purchased from F21+ when they were on sale for a whopping $10.99! Whoop Whoop!!!! I first fell in love with this style of pant when I saw my girl Inez of Style Chic 360 rock a similar pair last year here. This look was pulled literally together in a few mins. I think I produced something pretty decent! I had to snap a few shots of the look because I was pressed for time to get out the door, hope you all approve....

Today the girls and I got out for some scrumptious dinner at Longhorn. I really hated to see the girls leave, but we had to say good bye for now. We did vow to make this a ritual for us girls and I hope we hold to it. So here we are one more time:

Golden Egg

Hello Beauties!!!!

This past Monday and Tuesday, the Boo and I attended the Mardi Gras festivities that took place in Mobile, Alabama. Since we were there before day that Monday morning, we chose to rest all day and just catch up with friends and family. I opted to get all dolled up for an evening of nothing, but hey it made me feel good because I wanted to at least to come and share something interesting with you all.

This look was pretty casual as my usual, but I did try to step it up a notch. Since I hardly wear my heels for you all to see, I did add them to this look. These shoes were super comfortable, but I wish somebody had told me that you need to break your heels in too. My toes were going numb from the newness of the shoe, and betcha by golly, I will be wearing my heels around the house more often. 

Later that evening, we did end up eating at this restaurant called Golden Egg, that is my reason for this blog post title. The Golden Egg has some good food according to my boyfriend, but I am yet to be impressed. The food wasn't horrible, but they did have some good patty sausage. They serve some pretty good breakfast food though. I might have to revisit, and it may change my perspective on the food if I try something else.

Pre-Bday Celebration and So long 2011...

Hello Beauties!!!

Last night the boo and I decided to get out for an early celebration for drinks and social. We finally managed to leave the house around 1am and didn't end of anywhere except back home. We realize everything was either too packed or the fact that Alabama law stops the serving of alcohol at 2am...That sucks!!! But thank God for friends, we ended up heading to a friend of ours who loves to entertain no matter what time it is. So we headed there and drank wine until 5am! I had so much fun as a matter of fact because we talked about everything under the sun and got advice about any and everything! 

This weekend is such a bummer because my boo will be celebrating his birthday on Saturday and I will not be home to spend it with him... :-( ...I have to work all freaking weekend!!! Sometimes I really hate my job due to the fact that I work 12hrs overnight from 7pm to 7am. I do have some after birthday plans in mind for him though ;-).
