High-low and Color Block

Hello Beauties!!!
Today, I was out assisting a friend with some shopping needs, and you know I had to do some browsing among the racks of Macy's and Lane Bryant for myself and you guys. These stores are having some awesome sales going on right now and you guys need to hit up yours in your local area to find some goodies!

I am really feeling the high low trend right now. I own a few tops that have the high low look, but I am itching to have a dress in that look. Below are a few photos of some looks that I am feeling personally. Today I saw this Greenish color at Lane Bryant and I loved it!!! The model in this pitcher does nothing for the look to me and the true color doesn't show very well in this picture. In person this dress looked nice, but I didn't try it on.

This look in this photo below can be found on Eloquii here. This dress one that I really like for its color blocking as well as the high-low hem.

These are just a few of the high-low looks that I am feeling right now. How do you feel about the high-low look?

MAC Re-do

Hello Beauties!!!
I know you all see the latest makeover I received from MAC, so I decided to re-do the look with some stuff I already had at home. I opted to re-do the entire look over and wanted you all to be the judge. Please leave your comments on the look.

Here are both looks, let me know your thoughts. I loved this eye look that I couldn't resist re-doing it. I hope you all like it as much as I did.

Have a great week!!!!

MAC'd Over

Hello Beauties!!!!

Today, I received a makeover at MAC. I love makeup and would love to do it as a freelance artist. The MAC counter today in Belk hosted an event that introduced their new line called SHOP. The line has some amazing colors! The collection is very springy yet with some nice neutral tones in the mix. As an introduction of the line they gave free face overs to anyone who wanted one and a free gift of choice. I love the eye palette, the lip color, and the blush the MUA used on my face today. I only purchased the lip color and the pro-longwear concealer because I own a ton of stuff.

Here are a few photos to show you my products that I purchased:
"Flaunting It" Kissable Lipcolor

NW45 MAC Pro-Longwear Concealer

Overall the face the artist created for me was a beautiful look, and I am yet not as thrilled I wanted to be. I feel that I appreciate my own personal looks better, but she did the damn thing on my eye look. I gotta get some better brushes asap! I did learn quite a few things from her today. The quality of brushes do matter how some parts of your makeup turn out. I will be investing in some new brushes real soon.

Here are some of the products I loved that I did not buy:

"Restores Dazzle" Cremeblend Blush

Here some photos of my MAC'd over look:

Leave me your thoughts on my MAC'd Over look. Do you think I should consider becoming a freelance MUA? I personally think the look is Ok...

Welcome to all my new followers and I appreciate each and everyone of you.

Mardi Gras "Fat Tuesday" 2012

Hello Beauties!!!!

This Tuesday I delighted myself in the Mardi Gras "Fat Tuesday" festivities that host some of the largest parades around. I enjoyed every moment! Some people debate that the Mardi Gras was originated in New Orleans, LA, but the truth of the matter is that the birth of Mardi Gra is Mobile, Alabama. I have to admit though, a part of me is very interested to attend at least one Mardi Gra in New Orleans one day. I'm just dropping in to share some pics from my part in the celebration:

Since this was my first time in 3 years attending Mardi Gra, my goal for the OOTD was strictly comfort, and that is just what I did. I wore sneakers, jeans, and a white T-shirt.
I really did enjoy myself. I didn't realize how much I missed the hustle for the beads and moon pies until each parade rolled around the block. Around my neck are all the beads my boyfriend and I caught.  We did get to catch a few moon pies, but overall the people on the float to me sucked because they were not throwing much of anything.
I think I want to make it a week ordeal for our vacation days next year because I had a great time!

I did beat my face for the day!!! Since I was celebrating Mardi Gra, I decided to do an eye shadow look to commemorate "Fat Tuesday".  So here are a few pics of my FOTD:

Hope you all enjoy...

Happy Hump-day everyone!!!! Have a great rest of the week...

Golden Egg

Hello Beauties!!!!

This past Monday and Tuesday, the Boo and I attended the Mardi Gras festivities that took place in Mobile, Alabama. Since we were there before day that Monday morning, we chose to rest all day and just catch up with friends and family. I opted to get all dolled up for an evening of nothing, but hey it made me feel good because I wanted to at least to come and share something interesting with you all.
Monday's OOTN:

Blazer: Torrid;Top: Lane Bryant Outlet;Jeggings: Ashley Stewart;Shoes: JustFab.com;Bag: Coach

This look was pretty casual as my usual, but I did try to step it up a notch. Since I hardly wear my heels for you all to see, I did add them to this look. These shoes were super comfortable, but I wish somebody had told me that you need to break your heels in too. My toes were going numb from the newness of the shoe, and betcha by golly, I will be wearing my heels around the house more often.

Later that evening, we did end up eating at this restaurant called Golden Egg, that is my reason for this blog post title. The Golden Egg has some good food according to my boyfriend, but I am yet to be impressed. The food wasn't horrible, but they did have some good patty sausage. They serve some pretty good breakfast food though. I might have to revisit, and it may change my perspective on the food if I try something else.

Moday's FOTD:

Hope you all like it...

I love wearing my...

Hello Beauties!!!

This is a post about my love for wearing my combat boots that were purchased at Kmart. They are comfortable, but I do need some arch supports to make the wear last longer. I absolutely love to wear these shoes and I pull them out to wear with almost everything and anything I can think of. I really would love to own a pair in black.* I don't need anymore shoes at all because this shoe thing right now is major!!! I have gotten 7 pairs of shoes within the last two weeks...so a shoe haul will be coming very soon. From this week past, here are some looks I wish to share with you all...

Blazer: Thrifted; Top: F21+; Stir-up legging: Lane Bryant; Boots: Kmart; Bag: Coach

Blazer: Sears; T-shirt: Target; Jeans: Lane Bryant by Seven7; Watch: Michael Kors; Bracelets: Lane Bryant: Bag: Coach

If you haven't noticed by now, well I have traded in  my Steve Madden bag. I had been thinking for sometime now whether or not did I want to invest in a higher end bag. My decision has been made and I am very happy with my decision. This Coach is a color that caught my eye and I love a decent sized bag!!! This is my new go to bag and it holds everything!!! I can almost carry my home in my bag and I love it!!!

Well this weekend I will be journeying to Mobile, AL for Mardi Gras for the first time in 3years!!!! I have missed it so much, and I will be coming back to share some awesome pictures.

Stay Tuned...
Shoe Haul coming...

Have a great and safe weekend!!!!!!

Out for Chinese and the Laundromat

Hello Beauties!!!!

Last night the Boo and I headed out for Chinese for dinner and to retrieve my laundry from the laundromat.  My boyfriend thought this look was not worth the photo, but I begged to differ. I love a camera and I couldn't pass this up. The look I was going for casual with a bit of my try at the arm candy trend that everyone is rocking. I love this jacket I got from Torrid over a year ago and I just think it goes with everything. Waiting on them to have a banging sale now because I racked up last year on an abundant of their jackets for only $20 each. I will be on the look out for that.

 Closer detailing on my ring:

Here is a look at my arm candy:

Earlier that morning, I treated my boyfriend and I to manicures and pedicures. This was another one of his early Valentines Day gifts because he and I work such hectic schedules and I just did what I could while we both had the time.

Here is my manicure:
 Electric Pineapple-China Glaze
I love this nail color, I just might have to own this one!

My Outfit:
Jacket: Torrid
V-neck/Jeans/Bracelets: Lane Bryant
Boots: Kmart
Watch: Michael Kors
Ring: $5 Jewelry Sale at Work
Bag: Guess

Each and everyone of you, have a great week and be in touch...

Btw, welcome to all of my new followers....Smooches!!!!
