Mardi Gras "Fat Tuesday" 2012

Hello Beauties!!!!

This Tuesday I delighted myself in the Mardi Gras "Fat Tuesday" festivities that host some of the largest parades around. I enjoyed every moment! Some people debate that the Mardi Gras was originated in New Orleans, LA, but the truth of the matter is that the birth of Mardi Gra is Mobile, Alabama. I have to admit though, a part of me is very interested to attend at least one Mardi Gra in New Orleans one day. I'm just dropping in to share some pics from my part in the celebration:

Since this was my first time in 3 years attending Mardi Gra, my goal for the OOTD was strictly comfort, and that is just what I did. I wore sneakers, jeans, and a white T-shirt.
I really did enjoy myself. I didn't realize how much I missed the hustle for the beads and moon pies until each parade rolled around the block. Around my neck are all the beads my boyfriend and I caught.  We did get to catch a few moon pies, but overall the people on the float to me sucked because they were not throwing much of anything.
I think I want to make it a week ordeal for our vacation days next year because I had a great time!

I did beat my face for the day!!! Since I was celebrating Mardi Gra, I decided to do an eye shadow look to commemorate "Fat Tuesday".  So here are a few pics of my FOTD:

Hope you all enjoy...

Happy Hump-day everyone!!!! Have a great rest of the week...

Golden Egg

Hello Beauties!!!!

This past Monday and Tuesday, the Boo and I attended the Mardi Gras festivities that took place in Mobile, Alabama. Since we were there before day that Monday morning, we chose to rest all day and just catch up with friends and family. I opted to get all dolled up for an evening of nothing, but hey it made me feel good because I wanted to at least to come and share something interesting with you all.
Monday's OOTN:

Blazer: Torrid;Top: Lane Bryant Outlet;Jeggings: Ashley Stewart;Shoes: JustFab.com;Bag: Coach

This look was pretty casual as my usual, but I did try to step it up a notch. Since I hardly wear my heels for you all to see, I did add them to this look. These shoes were super comfortable, but I wish somebody had told me that you need to break your heels in too. My toes were going numb from the newness of the shoe, and betcha by golly, I will be wearing my heels around the house more often.

Later that evening, we did end up eating at this restaurant called Golden Egg, that is my reason for this blog post title. The Golden Egg has some good food according to my boyfriend, but I am yet to be impressed. The food wasn't horrible, but they did have some good patty sausage. They serve some pretty good breakfast food though. I might have to revisit, and it may change my perspective on the food if I try something else.

Moday's FOTD:

Hope you all like it...

I love wearing my...

Hello Beauties!!!

This is a post about my love for wearing my combat boots that were purchased at Kmart. They are comfortable, but I do need some arch supports to make the wear last longer. I absolutely love to wear these shoes and I pull them out to wear with almost everything and anything I can think of. I really would love to own a pair in black.* I don't need anymore shoes at all because this shoe thing right now is major!!! I have gotten 7 pairs of shoes within the last two weeks...so a shoe haul will be coming very soon. From this week past, here are some looks I wish to share with you all...

Blazer: Thrifted; Top: F21+; Stir-up legging: Lane Bryant; Boots: Kmart; Bag: Coach

Blazer: Sears; T-shirt: Target; Jeans: Lane Bryant by Seven7; Watch: Michael Kors; Bracelets: Lane Bryant: Bag: Coach

If you haven't noticed by now, well I have traded in  my Steve Madden bag. I had been thinking for sometime now whether or not did I want to invest in a higher end bag. My decision has been made and I am very happy with my decision. This Coach is a color that caught my eye and I love a decent sized bag!!! This is my new go to bag and it holds everything!!! I can almost carry my home in my bag and I love it!!!

Well this weekend I will be journeying to Mobile, AL for Mardi Gras for the first time in 3years!!!! I have missed it so much, and I will be coming back to share some awesome pictures.

Stay Tuned...
Shoe Haul coming...

Have a great and safe weekend!!!!!!

Out for Chinese and the Laundromat

Hello Beauties!!!!

Last night the Boo and I headed out for Chinese for dinner and to retrieve my laundry from the laundromat.  My boyfriend thought this look was not worth the photo, but I begged to differ. I love a camera and I couldn't pass this up. The look I was going for casual with a bit of my try at the arm candy trend that everyone is rocking. I love this jacket I got from Torrid over a year ago and I just think it goes with everything. Waiting on them to have a banging sale now because I racked up last year on an abundant of their jackets for only $20 each. I will be on the look out for that.

 Closer detailing on my ring:

Here is a look at my arm candy:

Earlier that morning, I treated my boyfriend and I to manicures and pedicures. This was another one of his early Valentines Day gifts because he and I work such hectic schedules and I just did what I could while we both had the time.

Here is my manicure:
 Electric Pineapple-China Glaze
I love this nail color, I just might have to own this one!

My Outfit:
Jacket: Torrid
V-neck/Jeans/Bracelets: Lane Bryant
Boots: Kmart
Watch: Michael Kors
Ring: $5 Jewelry Sale at Work
Bag: Guess

Each and everyone of you, have a great week and be in touch...

Btw, welcome to all of my new followers....Smooches!!!!
