CS Beauty Review: Milani 'Stay Put Brow Color'

We may have duped ABH(Anastasia Beverly Hills) Dip Brow Pomade. If you have been looking for an affordable alternative, we may have found it right here.

I have discovered the Milani 'Stay Put Brow Color' which is a product that was, to me, created to duplicate ABH 'Dip Brow Pomade' which appears to perform exactly the same, so I will detail to you my exact thoughts on the product.

The Stay Put Brow Color comes in 5 shades to choose from and they price rage from $8.29-$9.00. Each 'Stay Put Brow Color' come packaged as you see with the dual ended applicator. You should be able to find them at your local Target, Walmart, and/or drug stores. I found mine at my local CVS Pharmacy. You can always find it online here.

My 'Stay Put Brow Color' is Dark Brown

As you saw in the collage above, I applied the product to the brow and it made them look strangely lightly colored. So the look on my face in the above pic says it all! So, I kept coaching myself to keep going as I do with my usual brow fill-in/shaping process. The outcome, for sure, had me seeing things a bit differently.

In usual fashion, I went on to apply my entire facial application to bring the look together. The brows turned out nice! I loved it from looking at my bottom picture. I wore the look for the entire day and keep scolling to see my final thoughts on this 'Stay Put Brow Color'.

This photo was taken with a flash from an iPhone6.

This is around 10pm that same evening and the brows did not move!

I have tried ABH and this is giving it a go for its money. I still feel that I want ABH apart of my collection as well, but in the mean time, I'm just gonna rock on with this Milani 'Stay Put Brow Color' because I'm too cheap!

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this brow product a 6. I rate it a 6 because it is an alright product to achieve a natural looking brow. The flash photography with using this 'Stay Put Brow Color' does look a little too light in the photo I took above, but it is doable. Personally, I prefer the pencil method over any product as such because I like the scultped look. This will be a permenant addition to my makeup collection as of now. My advice to you is to give it a try and see how it works for you.

Pros:
  • It does stay put all day
  • It comes in 5 shades
  • It comes with a dual ended applicator
  • Affordable
  • Easy to use
  • Provides more natural looking brow
Cons;
  • The color can be darkened for people who like the more sculpted brow
  • Can Dry out easily if cap is not secured on product
  • I do not advise you use this product with flash photography
Will you be trying out the Milani 'Stay Put Brow Color'? If you seem interested and have any questions, just let me know.
