Skater

 Eyes closed, why...
 Closer look at shoes:
Jacket/Dress: F21+(jacket also worn here); Fishnet tights: Kmart by LYS; Booties: Shii by Journeys

Hello Beauties!!! Happy Friday!!! Aren't you just excited that Christmas is just around the corner? I'm not, I feel like Sheryl Underwood, the Holidays are coming too damn fast!! It's like you are not enjoying them this time around. Any who, in my previous post, I did show you my Saturday look, so here is my Sunday look. I am so very much into the skater trend this season, and felt the need to wear this dress that was given to me from my sister. I through on the jacket because the dress was sleeveless and I wanted to be modest for church purposes. I am trying to think of other ways to rock this little black number, and please know that I am always open for suggestions. Another part of me was also prompted to do this post due to the fact that I rarely post outfit looks in skirts or dresses. I hope you all enjoyed this look because I did ;-)!

Fine Wine

Hello Beauties!!! I am back!!!! The holiday has spoiled me and it is taking some time for me to adjust to civilization. I journeyed to Mobile, AL this past weekend to sing on a church program. While there, I did catch up with some people I like to call family away from home. Seeing them really made me miss being in the Port City a great deal. I say this often, and I am saying it again...I want to move back, but at the end of the day I know I do not want to be in Alabama much longer. Where should I go??? That is for the future to tell me...

This blog post title, comes from the particular lipstick I am rocking in this outfit post. I have owned this lip color for a year or so, and I know that vampy lips are so hot this season, why not rock my Fine Wine by Covergirl Queen Collection. I love this lippie choice for this look!!!! It worked perfect! On to the look:

Denim Shirt: F21+(also worn here); Skinnies/Earrings: Macys; Combat Boots: Kmart by Bongo; Belt: Target

Hope you guys liked this look!!! I had an awesome weekend and this lipstick is a great Fall color to add to your lipstick collection. Also, be sure to check me out on my Youtube. I have actually been updating over there lately...LOL!!!

MU Brush Review: realTechniques

L to R: Blush Brush, Buffing Brush, Detailer Brush, Pointed Foundation Brush, Contour Brush
Hello Lover!!! I greet you as my lover because this is for all my makeup lovers out there. I am a sure fire makeup head and anything great, I have to share it with you all!!! This is a makeup brush review that is well long over due. Presenting realTechniques by Samantha Chapman. Samantha is a youtube guru who produced this line of brushes, and the girl did darn great with her product!! You can check her out here. I have been seeing these brushes all over Youtube, and had to have some for myself. I searched in Google where to find these beauties and they are available for purchase at Ulta stores, Ulta online, Amazon, and for sure Ebay.

Here is the blush brush and you can stand it up on the base.

I am in love you all!!! These brushes are amazing and very affordable. You don't have to go broke to have a flawless face. Lucky for me, I was able to get mine for BOGO 50% off, which is always a great thing! The black and copper brushes came as a set, and the blush brush was sold separately.  My particular favorites are the buffing brush and the blush brush because these are my go to brushes whenever I am applying my face products.

Pros

  • Provides great application
  • Hardly little to no shedding
  • Affordable
  • Very soft Bristles
  • Picks up product great!!!
  • Comes with packaging to hold the brushes
Cons
  • There are no cons to me for these brushes
If you are in need of a great not so expensive set of brushes, I encourage you to purchase these brushes here. I am itching to have the eye brush kit that she also has as a part of her brush collection.

If you liked this review, please let me know if you'd like to see more. Feel free to leave your thoughts on what you are interested in knowing.

Until next time Lovers...

Cold Shoulder

Top/Jeans: Kmart by LYS; Shoes: Bakers (also worn here)

Hello Beauties!!! This going to be a beautiful yet long 4 day weekend, but I'm not complaining. Here is my look I rocked on Thanksgiving day. I went for comfort yet cute and chic. I used to be reluctant about cold shoulder tops, but once I spotted this top in Kmart I had to have it. One, it's black and it was 40% off!!!! Score!!!!! Pretty much this entire outfit is from the K (Kmart). I absolutely love Kmart fashions and they always have a great sale. Hope each of you enjoy this look and had a great Thanksgiving!!! Be safe out there...

SN: Untucking the shirt was my sister's idea, what are your thoughts? Shirt tucked or untucked??

Until Next time...

Product Review: Revlon Colorstay Foundation

Hello Beauties!!! I am back with a product review!!!! Since I had such a great response on the Maybeline BB Cream, I decided to do one on a foundation. I have been using MAC for years and I just decided here lately that I want to share with you those same drugstore products that can give you that same flawless look. I've been wanting to try this foundation for a few years now, but being that I was hooked on MAC I just did not worry about trying anything else.

I purchased the Revlon Colorstay about a month ago, and I have been using it for about that length of time or just a week shy of a month completely.
I love this product. It gives great coverage and it does not rub off easily. I cannot say that it last for 24hrs because I did not wear the product for that length of time. In comparison to MAC, it does a damn great job. It didn't have me all shiny and oily looking like MAC tends to do after about an hour or so. The only thing I can say bad about it, is it may be the culprit to my latest breakouts!!!! Ugh!!! I had found my new love but now I may have to let it go...

Pros to ME:
(This only applies as for what it does for me)

  • Great Building formula
  • Great Coverage
  • Doesn't rub off
  • Gives you a complete Matte finish
  • I advise you to purchase product if you do not have sensitive skin
Cons to ME
(This only applies as for what it does for me)
  • Leaves me with Breakouts

Along with using this product, I've also been using the Revlon Photo primer in the lavendar color which is to color correct.

I absolutely love this primer!!! It does the job perfect and I can't wait to purchase more!!!

Please leave your thoughts below.

Influenster: Beauty Blogger VoxBox Review

Hello Beauties!!! Review Time!!! I was one of many great Influensters to review this Beauty Blogger VoxBox. In the above photo, you see all the amazing goodies I received inside...Take a look!!!! These goodies were all amazing, but sad to say I did not use all items shown. I will be listing each item and let you know if I used the product or not.

  • Goody "Spin Pin"
    • This product did not serve much use for me because I don't have long hair. The product came in a color for dark hair purposes and is able to assist in creating 3 easy styles. From the packaging, you are able to create a nice sleek pulled back bun.
  • NYC Individual Eyes
    • This product is a great eyeshadow compact to have on hand for an everyday look. The primer does work well to me. It could use some minor chemical kinks to get that product to hold just right! Overall the eye colors are great and the illuminator could be used as a great highlight under eye as well as a brow bone highlight.
  • Not Your Mother's Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream
    • I did not get a chance to use this product. I have not been wearing my hair out at all, so I can not give you the just of this product.
    • I will say that the product is infused with Coconut and Silk extracts and the smell is great!!! The texture is very smooth and is not a greasy product.
  • EBOOST
    • WILL NOT BE SAMPLING THIS PRODUCT DUE TO NO FDA APPROVAL.
    • The way to use this product is to simply empty contents from pack into a glass of water and drink as you may.
    • The packaging is stated to be a daily health booster. It is an all-natural orange flavor drink mix that is created to boost your immunity.
  • Cider Lane & $10 off from Bath and Body Works
    • This is a mini candle that I was sent. This is a Bath and Body Works product. I was also sent a $10 off coupon as well to use toward any candle purchase from a Bath and Body Works store.
    • The candle is mini, but the aroma it gives when lit is powerful!!! I loved this candle! I tend not to be into those Fall like scents because I just tend to think they stink. This candle will be purchased by me!!!
  • Kiss Starter Kit ever pro lashes
    • I was so stoked about receiving this kit because I just started getting into the eyelash craze. This kit came with lashes, lash applicator, and 24hr latex-free glue. The lashes were gorgeous but hard as ever for me to get them on.
    • The lash applicator is handy, but I got glue all over it so that ruined the job it was there for.
    • I know the glue is a 24hr latex-free, but I did not wear it that long. I do not like the glue applicator at all and  that glue was difficult to remove!! My eyelid turned red from that glue.
    • I will be trying the lashes again but not the glue.

Thanks for stopping by...

Sloss Furnace

Hello Beauties!!! Oh my, where did the year go???? It has flown by so quick, and I am just thankful to be here and blog about it to you all...

Any who, I am trying my darnest to get better about doing outfit posts. This post is titled Sloss Furnace because this is a location that I journeyed to after church to take my pictures. The location was suggested by my new again and sometime "photographer" boyfriend. My Boo is so impatient when it comes to taking my blog photos, but I think he's starting to soften up since he is now off most weekends, Yay for me!!! Birmingham, AL is historical for a great deal of things bad and good. This particular location is historic for it's iron and steel production back in the late 1800s. Everything at this location had most of it's originality and a tour that takes you throughout the entire facility. The architectural aspect of it seems to be an amazing focal point for me. We didn't do a guided tour because it was just the two of us and the nicest part is that it is FREE to the public. To find out more about the Sloss Furnace, feel free to read more about it here.

I claim this to be a location that I keep in mind for future wedding or engagement photo endeavors.... ;-)

On with the look:
